A hob is another term for male ferrets while jill is the term used for female ferrets. Kits is another name for baby ferrets while ferret groups are called as business of ferrets.
  4. Naturally, another interesting fact about ferrets is their reaction towards humans. It has been said that they do not normally fear human beings. In fact, they have been tamed even thousands of years ago and such has been documented in historic artifacts like Egyptian tombs.
  5. Lastly, ferrets love to take a nap in dark spaces. This is one of the obvious reasons why ferrets love to enter small holes. Sleeping is not just a normal mechanism but a routine for these pets. In fact, they can sleep for about 18 hours and can easily adapt to their owner’s time frame.
